Our People
LACA is made up of eight regions and seven working committees.
Each committeee has a specific set of aims, objectives and key representatives from the various regions.
Research and Communications Committee
Role of Research & Communications Committee:
Review and update the Memorandum and Articles of Association as appropriate Draft Code of Conduct and Protocols of National Executive Council and for Members.
Recommend changes to these as necessary
Manage the production of an Annual Handbook, Periodic Newsletters and Induction Packs for New Members of LACA – including Membership Cards Management of the LACA Awards
Manage market research related to the organisation and provide a bank of statistics relating to Local Authority Catering e.g. numbers of meals provided, total turnover, staff numbers employed, meal prices Specification types etc
Any other matters associated with Membership issues as they arise
