HCL caters to over 350 guests at garden party
HCL (Hertfordshire Catering Limited) provided food to over 350 guests at Hertfordshire County Council’s chairman’s garden party.
The guests feasted on more than 2000 canapes, which included smoked salmon and cream cheese blinis, pate and red onion marmalade crostini, and bruschetta with tomato and basil in a balsamic dressing.
There was also a selection of traditional afternoon tea sandwiches for guests to choose from. The savoury selection was followed by sweet canapés, which included fresh fruit tartlets, chocolate-dipped fresh cream and strawberry meringues and fresh fruit skewers.
Lin O’Brien, chief executive of HCL, said: “I’d like to thank the chairman for giving us the opportunity to cater for such a prestigious event. I’d also like to thank everyone at HCL who worked so hard in the preparation, organisation, and precision execution of the event. Real collaboration and team work from across the business ensured the event was a great success and showcases the best of HCL to all.”
As well as providing school meals to 94% of primary schools in Hertfordshire, HCL has catered at 14 events in the last three weeks.
The bi-annual garden party took place on July 16th.
