LACA delivers thank you message to school caterers

11 Nov 2022
To end National School Meals Week (7-11 November) LACA chair Brad Pearce hailed the importance of school chefs and caterers who strive to create nutritious and healthy school meals for millions of schoolchildren.

In a short video released on the National School Meals Week Twitter account, Brad said: “It’s Friday! It’s National School Meals Week so it’s VIP Day. I’m here at Yealmpstone Farm Primary School and VIP Day is all about thanking all of the school staff who do such an amazing job every day.

“But we wanted to thank for of our frontline staff at CaterED for what they do so I am here presenting the certificate to Karen and the team.”

Friday is VIP Day during NSMW, a day to welcome your local councillor in for lunch and to say thank you to the wonderful people who work in the school meals industry. LACA thanks everyone for getting involved in National School Meals Week, which of course will return in 2023.
