ProVeg UK to run free school meals cooking workshops for caterers

Sustainable school food NGO ProVeg UK will be running a online cooking workshop for school caterers on Wednesday 20th March at 3pm, featuring a range of international recipes.
ProVeg UK runs monthly webinars for education caterers focussed on plant-based school meals, discussing the benefits of plant-based cooking and providing cooking demonstrations of their most popular recipes.
This month’s workshop will celebrate International School Meals Day, featuring guest speakers from Uganda and Brazil. The free workshop will explore some of the plant-based dishes children are having for lunch across the globe, while raising awareness of planet-friendly food.
The cooking demonstration will cover a range of international recipes, including Ugandan Red Bean and Coconut Stew and Brazilian Smoky Black Bean and Pumpkin Feijoada. You can sign up for free here.
