The PS100 has unveiled its diary of upcoming events over the next few months.

November 24th 2016
PS100 Group and partners at Food Matters Live – 10am
Discussion on collaborative working across public Sector Catering followed by panel debate on the Childhood Obesity Strategy and how it impacts on Public Sector catering.  Speakers include:

  • Andy Jones – Chair of the PS100 Group
  • Phil Shelley – Chair of the Hospital Caterers Association (HCA)
  • Matthew White – Chair of The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO)
  • Neel Radia – Chair of the National Association of Care Catering (NACC)
  • Peter McGrath – Immediate Past Chair of the Lead Association for Catering in Education (LACA)
  • Linda Cregan – CEO of the Childrens Food Trust
  • David Foad – Group Editor at Cost Sector Catering

PS100 Group Public Sector Most Influential Debate
Debate on the key issues facing the industry and how things are likely to change during 2017.

PS100 Group Public Sector Catering Showcase at the Great Hospitality Show, Birmingham NEC
Some of the leading chefs from across public sector catering will be showcasing the skills across the industry.  The chefs will be working with a white fish for their main course and apples or pears for their dessert, however, they will be working to their usual daily meal cost in each sector and to any nutritional standards that they need to adhere to giving visitors the chance to understand the difficulties and controls that these exceptional chefs have to work under.  Representatives from the leading industry associations will be interviewed during the showcase to explain how their sector works.

PS100 Group Annual Keynote Presentation followed by the 2017 Cost Sector Catering Awards and the presentation of the PS100 Group Health & Nutrition Award
Details of the keynote will be announced following the PSMI debate in December.  The annual award will be open for entries in December 2016.
