#StomachThis conference to discuss UK food poverty

A conference aiming to shine a light on the ‘unravelling reality’ of food poverty in the UK is set to take place next month in Liverpool.

#StomachThis 2nd Bite will take place on 28th June 2016 in Liverpool bringing together influencers from the political, business and charity sectors to discuss the problems, actions and potential solutions surrounding hunger and call on the government to do more to tackle the problem.

Amongst the speakers are Amelia Womack, deputy leader of the Green Party; Laura Needham, area manager of Children’s Food Trust; Alison Last, UK corporate communications manager of Kelloggs; and Sara Bryson, policy and research manager NE of Child Poverty Commission.

The conference is open to all, including MPs, councilors, policy makers, dieticians, nutritionists, education professionals and business leaders.
