CDG wins over £1.5m of new contracts with education sector

13 Aug 2013

Catering Design Group (CDG), a UK leading restaurant and commercial catering design company, has secured over £1.5 million pounds of new contract wins within the education sector.

Rugby School is a leading co-educational boarding school in Warwickshire and one of the oldest independent schools in Britain. The school recently acquired the adjacent Bishop Wulstan School, which will now undergo a complete refurbishment to improve facilities for sixth form students.

The project will see the creation of a dedicated hospitality area and coffee shop, together with a complete refurbishment of the existing kitchen facilities.

Charterhouse School in Godalming is one of the leading independent schools in the world, with over 400 years of history. Having worked with the school for many years, CDG will return to create a new kitchen which will serve around 150 pupils in two of the existing boarding houses, together with a hospitality function for a large part of the school.

CDG will also make a welcome return to St Gabriels Independent Day School for Girls in Sandleford Berkshire having previously been contracted in 2010 & 2011. The project will see the creation of new servery counters and a light refurbishment to the dining area, incorporating new furniture.

Meanwhile London Southbank University will reap the benefits of a refit to its servery and dining areas which span over two floors and serve over 25,000 students across the breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

Finally, the University of Chichester will undergo a full refurbishment to its front of house areas, incorporating a complete interior design fit-out to ensure consistency of branding across the Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses.

CDG has also just appointed Gayle Swain as its new project consultant, responsible for driving sales and increasing company turnover through new business opportunities, whilst developing existing client relationships.
