Hobart UK appoints Scott Duncan as managing director

Duncan brings over 23 years of experience across foodservice equipment and a proven track record of delivering growth and strong customer partnerships.
He joins Hobart from Unox UK, where as managing director he led the company through a period of ‘rapid expansion and significant growth’. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Carpigiani UK, Jestic Foodservice, and Servequip.
Commenting on his appointment, Duncan said: “Hobart is an iconic brand with a proud heritage and strong reputation for quality and innovation. I am excited to be joining the business and look forward to building on the great success already achieved by the team. Together we will focus on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships and continuing to deliver on Hobart’s legacy of excellence.”
Duncan serves as a council member of the Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA) and is an ambassador for the Burnt Chef Project, reflecting his commitment to positive workplace culture and mental health in the industry.
