Let’s hear your views on children’s food poverty

13 Dec 2012

LACA members are being encouraged to complete an online survey that is being compiled by the Children’s Food Trust (CFT) into food poverty among children and young people.

Claire Rick of the CFT said: “We want to hear your views on the scale of food poverty issues facing young people and families you work with, and what more you think could be done to reduce food poverty among the children and young people you support.

“Please complete the anonymous survey by February 1st 2013 to help make this the biggest survey of its kind.”

The results will be announced on March 19th when the CFT, part of the School Food Trust, is holding its Children’s Food Conference.

Added Rick: “We plan to launch the results of a survey of professionals who work with children, young people and families, giving their views on some key questions. We hope this will be the most comprehensive survey of its kind to date.”
