Shire Services secures national award for sustainable school meals
Following October half term, Shire Services launched a new menu in partnership with ProVeg UK, featuring tasty, nutritionally balanced plant-based dishes that help reduce carbon emissions and support children’s health.
The School Plates Awards celebrate caterers who make meaningful changes towards sustainable menus. ProVeg UK works with over 95 partners, covering 8,000 schools nationwide.

Susan Vuli from Shire Services won the 2025 Roger Davis Outstanding Achievement Award (sponsored by Panasonic) at the LACA Awards for Excellence.
