Competition Tilda Together returns with Mary’s Meals

Competition Tilda Together is back with charity Mary’s Meals and holds the chance for one school to win £500 and a Tilda Together Day.

Now in its fourth year, Tilda Together focuses on the role nutrition can play in healthy bodies and healthy minds and will see Tilda Foodservice partner with school-feeding charity, Mary’s Meals.

The competition is open for entry to both primary and secondary schools.

Along with the cash prize, local PR and 25kg of Tilda brown and white rice, the winner will enjoy a ‘fun and educational packed’ Tilda Together Day involving nutritional talks by a qualified dietician and Mary’s Meals, cooking lessons, letter writing, as well as packing backpacks for the charity to distribute to school children across the globe.

Annette Coggins, head of foodservice, Tilda UK said: “At Tilda we understand the importance of offering great tasting, nutritious school meals together with educating pupils about cultures and cuisines from around the world. We are thrilled to have got together with Mary’s Meals for our 2019 competition, the prize will prove invaluable to one lucky school and its pupils, so I urge caterers to enter today.”

To enter the competition, all schools need to do is visit www.tildatogether.com by the  24 May 2019 and explain in 80 words or less why they would like to win the prize.

Every school that enters will receive a free 1kg bag of Tilda brown and white plus a Tilda Together Recipe Book – inspired by Mary’s Meals – created by school chefs, Michael Goulston (SCOTY winner), Tracy Healy, Joanne Forrest, Tony Mulgrew, Stephen Cross and John Whittle.
