LACA and the Institute of Hospitality at Kendal College Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Hospitality & Tourism Management

LACA is seeking applications from its members to take the Institute of Hospitality Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management in partnership with Kendal College.

The qualification consists of four modules covering seven key business areas within which the syllabus is contextualised specifically for the hospitality and tourism sectors.

Ten LACA members are being offered this unique opportunity. The places are subsidised and candidates accepted onto the course will be asked to sign that they will refund the subsidy if they fail to complete the course.

Places will be offered on a first come first served basis should the number of applicants exceed ten. Should applicants be less than ten, it may not be possible to offer the course.

Costs

The cost of the course is £3,100.  This is a fully inclusive cost of tuition, accommodation and meals whilst at Kendal College.  This cost is subsidised.  Costs of travel and back fill to be met by the employer.  The costs include attendance at a LACA seminar post the outcome of the exam results, where the graduation ceremony will take place.

The closing date for applications is 21st March 2018.

10 students are required to hold the course and you will be notified if you have been successful and if there is sufficient interest to go ahead by the end of March 2018.

Accommodation

Delegates will stay at the Castle Green Hotel (www.castlegreen.co.uk), Previous feedback is extremely positive about the networking/support value for the accommodation package.

Travel

The rail networks are very good – the nearest train station is Oxenholme (The gateway to the Lake District) a short taxi journey takes delegates from the station to the Castle Green Hotel.
