Rotherham's Riverside Catering fundraises for hospice

Riverside Catering, Rotherham council’s in-house catering provider, has been supporting Rotherham Hospice with its new ‘Biscuit Campaign’.
With the aid of Rosie the Bear, a new team member at the Hospice, Riverside hope to help raise awareness about the vital services the Hospice provides to enhance the quality of life of patients and their families through the provision of palliative care.
For the campaign, students are asked to bring £1 to school on their chosen fundraising day. and buy a Rosie-shaped biscuit, which have been baked by Kimberworth's Primary's Carol Taylor and her team. 100% of the proceeds will go to support the Hospice with their vital work on supporting the patients and their relatives.
Rotherham Hospice will then take Rosie to present student of participating school with a cheque to acknowledge how much they have raised on their fundraising day.
