Emma has a long and varied career within contract catering with extensive experience across all sectors of the industry working firstly within workplace dining before finding her true passion within the education sector 15 years ago.

In her current role as Regional Operations Director for Impact Food Group, Emma works collaboratively with clients across her business to ensure that the very best standards of food quality are delivered to every school. She understands the impact that creating a positive food culture for students has on their studies as well as their long-term eating habits and works in partnership with schools to achieve this.

Emma has been a LACA committee member in the South West for 18 months and quickly realised she wanted to give more to the association in order to help drive better food provision and funding for children across the UK. Having grown up with free school meals herself, this is a topic Emma feels strongly about and is keen to drive inclusivity and uptake within this area as well as better funding. She feels very privileged to be part of an organisation of likeminded people, all working towards the same goal of enhancing the school dining experience for all and relishes the opportunity to help effect positive change within the industry.
